Ava's 6th Birthday

Ava turned 6 this year!  She is growing up so fast it is crazy.  I remember the diaper and binki days like it was yesterday.  Now she just finished kindergarten and is talking like a little teenager.  She is so much fun to be around and still loves to play house and play with her babydolls.  She is also into picking out her clothes, wearing jewelry and feathers in her hair.  She also asks for me to do her makeup and gets so happy when I actually say yes.  We love our big girl so much!!

We are so lucky to have a brother in law that is a photographer!  He did such a great job at our wedding and literally took pics all night long, start to finish.  We absolutely love all of our pics!  Thank you sooooo much Tommy.  You are the BEST!  Here are just a few of our favorites.

Summer is Here!!

Well the hot weather is officially here.  We had our first day at 100 degrees.....ugh.  But at least we have a pool!  As long as I live in AZ, I will not have it any other way!  The pool is still a bit cold when you first jump in but you can get used to it.  The kids of course don't mind.

We are also enjoying our dinners outside before it gets to hot.  In the summer it stays 100+ degrees even after the sun goes down so we are taking advantage of it now.

We went shopping for Ava's birthday and we ended up getting a bicycle for Scott!  We are so excited though.  We can now go on family bike rides and don't have to leave dad out :)
