Surprise Bridal Lunch

Today my good friend Lauren picked me up to take me out to lunch to celebrate my upcoming wedding.  I had no idea all of our girlfriends would be there for a surprise bridal luncheon.  I was totally surprised and felt so happy to have great girlfriends like these.  The day was beautiful!  We sat outside, had lunch, some wine and opened gifts.  I had the best time!

1st Tooth

Ava lost her 1st tooth yesterday!  She showed Scott and I her loose tooth at a birthday party earlier that day and once we got home, Scott pulled it out!  She was not scared at all.  She is one tough cookie.  I think she was just excited about what she would get from the tooth fairy.  The tooth fairy made a visit and left a $5 bill!  She was feeling generous since it was her first tooth!  Ava woke up bright and early this morning and ran into our room with her money in hand.


                    

Scott's Birthday

Scott's birthday fell on a Saturday this year and we had the kids for his birthday weekend.  Wouldn't you know it that Scott had to work that Saturday.  While Scott was at work, the kids and I went to the store, picked up some decorations and a present from the kids, and went home to decorate.  We had a surprise party for him, just our fam.  He LOVED it.  He never had a surprise party before or baloons and streamers.  He was very excited and said it was his favorite birthday yet!

   The kids got Scott a hat (that didn't fit), a sweet rocker bracelet, some highlighters and a pack of gum.  He loved it!

          He was REALLY excited about this present....an iPad.
